I had this really interesting thought the other day and wanted to share it here.

For most of sports history, the end product was designed around competition (not the average person).

Basically…you trained for whatever sport you played and, if you were good enough, moved up the competitive ladder. Consumers had to adapt to the sport.

I think we’re increasingly seeing the opposite happen (as sports are now adapting to the consumer).

And it might be one of the biggest opportunities in front of us.
