This chart is pretty eye-opening (and shows the need for greater financial literacy across all demographics, age groups, and professions).

Short Passage of The Week

By Steve Gilbert

When people would come to me for advice, I would always worry that I had to come up with the "right" answer for them.

But I realized that almost without fail, people don't expect us to have the answers for them. They come to us because they want to someone to listen to them and support them as they work through whatever the issue might be.

When we are focused on listening to them (instead of being lost in our own heads trying to come up with the "right" answer for them) we can ask them questions that help them to see what the best path for them is.

Today, focus less on trying to come up with the right answers for people and instead pose the right questions.

“The wise man doesn't give the right answers, he poses the right questions.”
